Habitat for Headwaters next week!
Next Friday, September 23rd, is the date for Headwaters Charitable Trust’s 2nd Annual Sporting Clays Event – Habitat for Headwaters. The event will be hosted at Warriors Mark Wingshooting Lodge and Kennels, 548 Hunt Club Drive, Houtzdale, PA.
The event is a full day experience, including lunch, happy hour and dinner, as well as door prizes and Chinese auction items. Also, practice games and plenty of mulligans will be available for purchase.
To participate or become a sponsor, contact Heather Conrad, (814) 594-2339, hconrad@hwct.org.
This event will raise funds for Headwaters Charitable Trust and raise awareness for the need for land restoration in the region with projects such as the Wildlife Incentives for Nongame and Game Species (WINGS). Project WINGS is a rights‑of‑way management campaign designed to create new and enhance existing wildlife habitats on natural gas pipeline rights-of-way. Because pipelines and other utility lines disrupt wildlife habitat, an implemented habitat management plan can restore or improve the lost habitat and food sources, and may increase the diversity of species.
Headwaters Charitable Trust values the contribution sportsmen make to the employment, enjoyment and ecology of the PA Wilds. So come join us and show your support for Habitat for Headwaters.
