Introducing!!!
Hello Everyone!
My name is DeQuan Alston, though you can call me “Day” for short. I am 22 years old but will be 23 in December. You probably won’t hear me say too much when you’re around me. I come from being an AmeriCorps NCCC member in both the North Central Region and Atlantic Region. I am hoping this will be a good change of pace from direct service. I was born in Sioux Falls, SD but raised primarily in North Carolina. I am very excited to have made the move to Saint Marys, PA. I will be here serving as the Outreach Coordinator for Headwaters Charitable Trust working with the Living Greener program. In the week I have been here I have felt very welcome, transitioning from the city to seeing mainly the countryside is a big change, but I’m taking it in one day at a time. I look forward to serving this community in the best way possible and then some!
