Thank you everyone!
I am very thankful this holiday for all the new friends I have made here in Elk County and all the new things I have done. People have invited me into their homes to experience many of the joys of living here. Without the friends I have made I would never have experienced cider making or fly fishing. I would not have gotten to see cool vintage cars or gotten served fine BBQ in Kersey. I have done many fun things in the past year that I am so thankful I have been invited me to.
It’s Black Friday and I don’t have much money for shopping this year, yet I am content. I had an excellent Thanksgiving dinner with friends and now I’m enjoying a nice relaxing day and a chance to digest! Rather than think about what deals I can get or worry about missing out I’m looking forward to the deeper satisfaction of doing something for others.
