Update
This will be more of a reminiscent post. I am sure we have all heard about what has been going on with the recent flooding and hurricane. Around this time last year I remember getting up almost everyday going into Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We mucked and gutted so many houses. It felt good seeing how grateful the owners were. Though I have been keeping myself off of social media because of the fact that some people actually find natural disasters comical; it still warms my heart to see all of the FEMA/NCCC teams going out there bringing hope to those citizens. Former members that are no longer with FEMA corps are even being called in and they are more then willing to accept. I wish them all a safe arrival to whichever disaster they are going to. I encourage anyone who has friends or family in Texas, Florida, the Carribean or Louisiana to call and check on them and wish them well. This week I find myself watching videos about even the older natural disasters that occurred even before I was born. It kind of makes you think of all you have now and not to get too overconfident because it could easily be in your home state next.
